Plainfield Man Faces Child Porn, Drug Charges

Jason Ballarini was arrested yesterday after a search warrant was executed at his Joliet Road home.

A 31-year-old man faces charges of child pornography possession after Plainfield police and the Will County State’s Attorney’s Office High-Technology Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at his Plainfield home Wednesday.

Jason Ballarini, of 15233 S. Joliet Rd., faces seven counts of child pornography possession and one count of possession of a controlled substance, police said.

Sgt. Kevin McQuaid said police videos of illegally downloaded child pornography on a computer and computer equipment in the home, in addition to narcotics.

He said the search was executed after a “lengthy investigation” by police. 

Bond has not yet been set for Ballarini, who is due in Will County court on Thursday, according to Will County jail records.
