Plainfield Man Killed in Alabama Accident

Anthony Legittino was attempting to cross a street when he was struck by a pickup truck.

A Plainfield man was killed shortly before midnight Tuesday while attempting to cross a street in Montgomery, Ala., police said Wednesday.

Anthony Legittino, 23, was struck by a Ford F-150 pickup driven by Mario J. Bryant, 26, of Montgomery, police said. The driver was not injured in the collision.

According to Montgomery police, Bryant was driving in the inside lane when Legittino attempted to cross the street.
