Plainfield Police Blotter: Arrests for Drugs, Drunken Driving

Jan. 8

Freddy Acosta, 41, of the 16000 block of Peerless Court in Plainfield was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and booked into the Will County jail on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, police said.

Kyle Richard Marion, 24, of the 15000 block of Route 59 in Plainfield was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and and booked into the county jail on charges of possession of 30-500 grams of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to jail records.

Jan. 6

Justin Helin, 29, of the 13000 block of Cambridge Circle, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 1:05 a.m. at Main Street and Penny Lane and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.

Dec. 19

Cory Gould, 18, of the 12000 block of Blue Iris Lane, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 8:43 p.m. in the 13000 block of Route 59 and charged with possession of less than 10 grams of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dec. 15

Connor Holt, 19, of the 15000 block of South Hamlin, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 10:09 p.m. at 143rd Street and Route 59 and charged with possession of less than 10 grams of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.
