Plainfield Police Blotter: Arrests for Drunken, Drugged Driving

Oct. 6

Disorderly conduct

Jeffrey Clevinger, 52, of the 24000 block of Oak Lane, Shorewood, was arrested by Plainfield police at 7:26 p.m. at a business at 13450 S. Route 59 and charged with disorderly conduct, police said. Bond amount was $120.

Resisting arrest

Areli Valencia, 20, of the 770 block of Scarlett Oak Drive, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 1:42 p.m. at Lockport Street and Wallin Drive and charged with resisting/obstructing a peace officer and driving on a suspended/revoked license, police said. Bond amount was $2,000.

Resisting arrest, disorderly conduct

Kendrick Bibbs, 18, of the 24000 block of Norwood Drive, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 5:16 p.m. at Walmart, 12690 S. Route 59, and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting/obstructing a peace officer, police sad. Bond amount was $120.

DUI charge

Jess Ruiz, 64, of the 2100 block of Three Forks Drive, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 12:03 p.m. at Main and Mill streets and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and illegal transportation of alcohol, police said. Bond amount was $1,000.

No license

Ramon Velazquez-Madera, 41, of the 2000 block of Hearthstone, Yorkville, was arrested by Plainfield police at 3:28 p.m. at Main Street and Penn Road and charged with driving without a valid license, police said. Bond amount was $1,500.

Illegal possession of alcohol

Jaime Lopez, 44, of the 11000 block of Highland Drive, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 1:06 a.m. at 119th Street and Route 59 and charged with illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver, police said. Bond amount was $1,500.

No license

Shane Simon, 29, of the 1800 block of Silver Ridge Drive, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 9:35 p.m. at Joseph Avenue and Route 59 and charged with operating a vehicle with suspended registration/no insurance and driving on a suspended/revoked license, police said. Bond amount was $3,000.

DUI, drugs

Zachary Searcy, 21, of the 13000 block of Grande Poplar, Plainfield, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and booked into the county jail on charges of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol, possession of a syringe/needles and operating an uninsured vehicle, police said. Bond information was not immediately available.
