Plainfield Police Blotter: Child Endangerment, Theft Arrests

In-state warrant

Sarah Johnson, 25, of the 1000 block of Roosevelt, Joliet, was arrested by Plainfield police in the 15000 block of South Route 59 on an in-state warrant, police said.

Retail theft

Jazmine Amos, 26, of the 400 block of Winston, Joliet was arrested by Plainfield police at 1:44 p.m. in the 13000 block of South Route 59 and charged with retail theft and driving on a suspended/revoked license, police said. Derrick Gibson, 27, of the 600 block of Elmwood, Joliet, was also arrested and charged with retail theft.

Child endangerment

Ernest Benford, 34, of the 2100 block of Veterans Memorial in Mableton, Georgia, was arrested by Plainfield police at 6:42 p.m. in the 13000 block of South Route 59 and charged with reckless conduct, endangering the life of a child and resisting/obstructing a peace officer, police said. Bond amount was $1,500.

Warrant arrest

Kendra Stanback, 21 of the 5900 block of Emerald Pointe Dr., Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 7:39 p.m. at Arbor Drive and Renwick Road and arrested on an in-state warrant, police said.
