Plainfield Police Blotter: Copper Wire Stolen from Vulcan; DUI Arrests

Arrests and incidents reported by Plainfield police, Will County Sheriff's police, Jan. 22-Feb. 14.

Jan. 22

Christine Diver, 44, of the 2700 block of Foxwood Drive, New Lenox, was arrested by Plainfield police at 4:05 p.m. at a business at 11860 S. Route 59 and charged with retail theft, police said.

Feb. 4 

Sandie Dresden, 30, of the 15000 block of Route 59 in Plainfield was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police in the 2200 block of Route 59 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to signal and possession of a controlled substance, police said.

Feb. 9

Audon Gonzalez, 37, of the 900 block of Kelly Avenue, Joliet, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police at 127th and New Avenue and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, according to police.

Two unknown males stole several large pieces of copper wire from the Vulcan Materials property, 23231 W. Main St., police said.

Feb. 11

Cetise Purnell, 26, of the 1500 block of Heather, Aurora, was arrested by Plainfield police at 12:50 p.m. at Newkirk Drive and Route 59 and arrested on an in-state warrant, as well as charges of driving on a suspended/revoked license, police said.

Feb. 12

Paul Lungren, 44, of the 7700 block of Douglas Court, Frankfort, was arrested by Plainfield police at 11:44 p.m. at Joliet Road and Route 59 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to signal and failure to yield at a stop sign, according to police.
