Plainfield Police Blotter: DUI, Theft, Warrant Arrests

Arrests reported by Plainfield police, other agencies, April 9-12.

April 9

Valerie Wolfer, 20, of the 1800 block of Harvest Lane, Plainfield, was arrested at 12:05 p.m. at the Plainfield Police Department, 14300 S. Coil Plus Dr., on an in-state warrant, according to police.

Lejuana Buchanan, 47, of the 2400 block of Cactus Court, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 7:32 p.m. at Renwick Road and Route 59 on an in-state warrant and a charge of driving without a valid license, police said.

April 10

Zachary Searcy, 21, of the 13000 block of Grande Poplar Circle, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 6:21 p.m. in the 12000 block of Grand Pines Boulevard and charged with theft of $500 or less, police said.

April 11

Ruth Mae Bryant, 37, of the 14000 block of Napa Circle, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 8:35 p.m. at 143rd Street and Route 59 and charged with operating a vehicle with suspended registration/no insurance, police said.

April 12

Marc J. Sefcik, 30, of the 2200 block of Timber Trail in unincorporated Plainfield was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and booked into the county jail on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving an uninsured vehicle, driving a vehicle with expired registration and failure to obey a stop sign, according to police.
