Plainfield Police Blotter: Man Charged with Aggravated Assault, Reckless Conduct

Arrests reported by Plainfield police, other agencies, March 24-April 1.

March 24

Justina Ocasio, 21, of the 500 block of Oak Avenue, Aurora, was arrested by Plainfield police at 12:04 p.m. at BP gas station, 13500 S. Route 59, and charged with possession of less than 10 grams of cannabis, police said.

March 31

Charles M. Butera, 48, of the 2200 block of Stonehaven Drive in unincorporated Plainfield was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the Will County jail on a charge of domestic battery, according to jail records.

April 1

David A. Mitchell, 47, of the 1-100 block of Washington Court in unincorporated Plainfield was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and booked into the county jail on charges of aggravated assault and reckless conduct, police said.

Valerie M. Perez, 21, of the 24000 block of Mill Creek Drive in Plainfield was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and booked into the county jail on charges of leaving the scene of an accident and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
