Plainfield Police Blotter: Rifle, Ammo Stolen During Break-In; House Ransacked

Jan. 3

Edward A. Radziewicz, 17, of the 24000 block of Pear Tree Circle, Plainfield, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and booked into the Will County jail on a charge of residential burglary, according to police.

Jan. 1

Alexis Badillo, 18, of the 13000 block of Skyline Drive, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 4:08 p.m. at 135th Street and Route 30 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

Dec. 28

Someone entered a home in the 13000 block of Jane Circle and stole an AR-15 rifle with ammunition, a laptop, an Xbox gaming system and a PlayStation III gaming system, according to police.

Dec. 27

A home in the 21000 block of West Juneau Drive was ransacked, according to police, but it was unclear whether anything was stolen.

Dec. 26

Someone stole two copper bus bars and about 200 feet of copper wire from an SBA Communications cell tower site in the 24000 block of W. 135th Street in Wheatland Township, according to Will County Sheriff's police.

Dec. 15

Maggie Schillo, 20, of the 1000 block of Westmore Road, Lombard, was arrested by Plainfield police at 5:22 p.m. at a business in the 11800 block of S. Route 59, and charged with retail theft, police said.
