Marijuana needs to be legalized in this state and country. It is a complete waste of resources to 'arrest' people who use drugs. That is not how you stop people from using drugs. Alcohol is far worse than marijuana. This is a health problem, not an enforcement problem.

Ron you've just got all the answers.

Ron, just go to Springfield during open session and voice your opinion, I'm sure they will listen to you...haha

The citizens of Washington and Colorado finally figured it out. Marijuana has a lot of medical benefits for people.

If you want to make that claim...then so does alcohol. Give Washington and Colorado a few years and then come back and say it's a great idea.

Some alcohol may have some benefits if it is consumed correctly. Many people do not know when to stop. The behaviors of alcohol vs. marijuana are night and day. To say marijuana users are more violent than alcohol users is complete nonsense. Alcohol has far more negative impacts on society than marijuana will.
