  • Stratton said firefighters responded to the blaze at a six-unit townhome in the 11900 block of Winterberry Lane at around 11 a.m.

"It started on the exterior and ran into the attic," Stratton said. The three residents of the home were uninjured, Stratton said, noting that firefighters rescued a cat from the building and gave it oxygen to revive it.

Stratton said the cause of the fire remains under investigation.

The blaze was contained to one townhome unit. Stratton said the home has significant water damage and is uninhabitable, estimating damages of at least $150,000.
