Police Blotter: Burglary Arrest, DUI Charges

Aug. 25

DUI arrest

Anthony Dinello, 50, of the 25000 block of Wheat Drive, Plainfield, was arrested by at 1:31 a.m. at Main Street and Route 59 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.

Traffic charges

Carmen Friend, 51, of the 400 block of Rachel Circle, Romeoville, was arrested by Plainfield police at 11:48 am. at Naperville Road and Route 59 and charged with driving on a cancelled, suspended or revoked registration and improper use of registration, police said.

Aug. 31

No license

Andy Ferrer, 27, of the 100 block of Dolores Street, Oswego, was arrested by Plainfield police at 10:19 a.m. at Main Street and Route 59 and charged with driving without a valid license, police said. Ferrer was also booked on an in-state warrant, according to police records.

Warrant arrest

John Pyka, 49, of the 24000 block of Patriot Square Drive, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 12:10 p.m. at Presidential Avenue and Wallin Drive on an in-state warrant, according to police.

Sept. 1

Improper use of registration

Vincent Taylor, 26, of the 13000 block of Denise, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 6:47 a.m. at Hazel Crest Drive and Route 59 and charged with improper use of registration, police said.

Sept. 4

DUI arrest

Lon R. Zelenka 55, of the 24000 block of Peartree Court, Plainfield, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.

Sept. 5

Burglary charges

Humberto J. Martinez, 17, of the 20000 block of Ardmore, Plainfield, was arrested by Romeoville police and charged with burglary, according to Will County jail records.
