Man charged with theft

Robert Garrette, 47, of the 2400 block of Twin Fountain Court, Plainfield, was arrested by at 3:22 p.m. in the 13000 block of Route 59 and charged with retail theft, police said.

Warrant arrests

Linda Washington, 53, of the 800 block of 88th Place, Chicago, was arrested on an in-state warrant at 10:26 a.m. at the Plainfield Police Department, police said.

Jarrod McDaniel, 26, of the 12400 block of Blue Iris Lane, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police on an in-state warrant at 1:05 p.m. at his home, police said.

DUI arrest

Charles Horvath, 46, of the 24800 block of West Illini Drive, Aurora, was arrested by Plainfield police at 4:55 p.m. at Eyre Circle and Van Dyke Road and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.

Tires slashed

Will County Sheriff’s police said someone slashed three tires on a vehicle at , 16149 S. Lincoln Highway.

Battery arrest

Peggy S. Boris, 43, of the 16000 block of Howard Street, Plainfield, was taken into custody by Will County Sheriff’s police on a charge of domestic battery, police said.
