Aug. 23
DUI arrest
James E. Leno, 38, of the 4000 block of Carrington Lane, Plainfield, was taken into custody by Will County Sheriff's police on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and making an improper turn, police said. Bail was $100.

Cannbis charge
Derek M. Fife, 25, of the 1900 block of Prairie Trail, Plainfield, was arrested by Illinois State Police and charged with manufacture/delivery of more than 500 grams of cannabis, police said.

Aug. 22
Battery charge
Patricia Riley, 40, of the 15000 block of South Joliet Road, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police on a charge of battery at 11:26 p.m. at 16031 S. Lincoln Highway, police said.
Aug. 19
DUI arrest
Phillip Maniscalo, 46, of the 0-100 block of Crenshaw, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 3:18 a.m. at 143rd Street and Route 59 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.
