June 19

Woman charged with DUI

Stephanie Sells, 31, of the 900 block of LaSalle Drive, Chicago, was arrested by at 10:03 p.m. at 135th Street and Route 59 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.

No-wax delivery

Will County Sheriff's police said a woman in the 13000 block of Oakdale Court reported the theft of two boxes of wax bars. The resident contacted UPS after she did not receive the boxes, which were to be delivered to her home. UPS advised the woman the boxes had been delivered to her door the previous day.

Drag racing charges

John Kellers, 32, of the 14000 Wilkens, Plainfield, and Harry Zander, 25, of the 6900 block of Clearwater Drive, Plainfield, were arrested by Plainfield police at 1:37 p.m. at Naperville Road and Route 59 and charged with drag racing, police said.

June 26

Fake ID, no license

Elias Ruiz-Tufino, 29, of the 21000 block of Cascade Court, Plainfield, was arrested by Woodridge police and charged with driving on a license expired more than a year, driving without headlights, driving an uninsured car and possessing a fraudulent ID card, and taken to the Will County jail, police said.

DUI, warrant arrest

Juan J. Lopez, 37, of the 1700 block of Cumberland, Plainfield, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's Police on a warrant for failure to appear in court and charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving on a revoked or suspended license, police said.
