Police Blotter: False Report of Vehicle Theft, Drug Equipment Charges

Arrests reported by Plainfield police, other agencies, Sept. 14-20.

Sept. 14

Zachary Bopp, 18, of the 24000 block of Hazelcrest Drive, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 4:46 p.m. at Main Street and Route 59 and charged with driving without a valid license and possession of drug equipment.

Edward Thomas Bodnar, 42, of the 25000 block of Route 30, Plainfield, was taken into custody by Will County Sheriff's police on a charge of making a false vehicle theft report, police said. He was due in court Sept. 21.

Joshua T. Hamad, 18, of the 21000 block of Juneau, Plainfield, was taken into custody by Will County Sheriff's police on a charge of theft, police said. Bond information was not available Thursday.
