Police Blotter: Plainfield Man Charged with Possession, Obstruction of Justice
Arrests reported by Plainfield police.

Michael Salazar, 19, of the 24000 block of Whispering Trails Drive, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 3 a.m. at Pasquinelli Drive and Route 59 and charged with possession of more than 30 grams of cannabis, possession of a controlled substance and obstructing justice, police said.

Jose Soto, 47, of the 1100 block of Preakness Drive, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at his home at 8:08 a.m. on an in-state warrant.

Nicholas Rodriguez, 18, of the 1400 block of Jefferson Street, Naperville, was arrested by Plainfield police at 10:26 p.m. in the 12000 block of Wild Rye Court on an in-state warrant, police said.
