Police Blotter: Plainfield Man Faces Theft Charges; Suspended License Arrests

March 8

Andrew Beristang, 21, of the 100 block of Park Circle Drive, Wheaton, was arrested by Plainfield police at 11:18 p.m. at Champion Drive and Route 59 and charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license, police said.

March 9

Araceli Godinez-Arriaga, 37, of the 400 block of Water Street, Joliet, was arrested by Plainfield police at 8:29 a.m. at Getson Avenue and Joliet Road and charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license and speeding, police said.

Jose Samperio, 28, of the 400 block of Simms, Aurora, was arrested by Plainfield police at 11:42 a.m. at 119th Street and Olympic Drive and charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license, police said.

William Fabsits, 22, of the 14000 block of Penn Road, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 2:30 p.m. at Fieldbrook Drive and Route 30 and charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license and driving an uninsured vehicle, police said.

Robert Hicks, 22, of the 2300 block of Buttercup Lane, Crest Hill, was arrested by Plainfield police at 7:34 p.m. at Center and Lockport streets and charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license, police said.

March 11

Michael Brian Jakab, 29, of the 2200 block of Willow Lakes Drive in unincorporated Plainfield was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the Will County jail on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. Bond was set at $1,000.

March 12

Gordon Norman Neitzel, 50, of the 24000 block of Easy Street, Plainfield, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and booked into the Will County jail on charges of misdemeanor theft of less than $500 and felonty theft of more than $500, according to jail records. Bond was set at $10,000.

Crystal Harvey, 32, of the 2900 block of Ruth Fitzgerald Drive, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 12:04 a.m. at Alison and Drauden roads and charged with driving under the infuence of alcohol and improper lane use, police said.
