Police Blotter: Plainfield Men Face Drug Charges

Arrests reported by Plainfield police, other agencies, March 9-10.

March 9 

Thurston J. Bogatitus, 23, of the 15000 block of Fairfield Drive, Plainfield, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and booked into the county jail on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.

David Sommerio, 26, of the 7000 block of Applegate Drive in unincorporated Plainfield was arrested by Plainfield police and charged with manufacture/delivery of 10-30 grams of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Will County jail booking records.

March 10

Esteban Amaro, 29, of the 14000 block of Jefferson Avenue, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police and booked into the Will County jail on charges of domestic battery and knowingly damaging property, police said.

Laura J. Okrey, 23, of the 23000 block of West Plainsman Circle, Plainfield, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and booked into the county jail on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, improperly passing an emergency vehicle and failure to carry or display license or permit, police said.

Michael Salazar, 19, of the 24000 block of Whispering Trails, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police and booked into the Will County jail on charges of manufacture/delivery of 30-500 grams of cannabis, possession of a controlled substance and obstructing identification, police said.
