July 28
DUI, driving with no license
Isaura Castro, 35, of the 1600 block of Dearborn, Aurora, was arrested by at 1:51 a.m. at Lockport Street and Wallin Drive and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without a valid license, police said.

No license

Francisco Llanos, 22, of the 400 block of Clark Street, Aurora, was arrested by Plainfield police at 10:48 p.m. at 135th Street and Route 30 and charged with driving without a valid license, police said.
Aug. 10
No valid license
Rosa Mathieu, 37, of the 800 block of Grove Street, Aurora, was arrested by Plainfield police at 8:20 a.m. at Joliet Road and Route 59 and charged with driving without a valid license, police said.
Jason Tolle, 37, of of the 40W200 block of Ancient Oaks, St. Charles, was arrested by Plainfield police at 11:35 a.m. at Route 59 and 135th Street and charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license, police said.
Aug. 4
Laptops stolen in burglary
Someone entered a home in the 14000 block of Longview Lane and stole two laptops, according to Will County Sheriff's police.
Attempted burglary?
A homeowner in the 21000 block of Franklin Circle said a black male repeatedly rang her doorbell around 11:44 a.m. The woman told police it took her a while to get to the door, and as she approached the door, she heard someone tampering with a window near the door. When the homeowner opened the door, she observed the man, who appeared startled to see her, police said. The man asked if he could cut her lawn, and when she refused, he quickly left the yard while speaking on a cell phone, police said.

Property damage
Nicholas Torres, 19, of the 700 block of River Street in Oswego, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police at Renwick and River roads and charged with criminal damage to property.
Attempted break-in
Someone attempted to break into a home in the 22000 block of Plymouth Circle, police said.
Cell tower damaged during theft
Someone vandalized a Clearwire Corp. cell tower at 10856 S. Naperville-Plainfield Road in Wheatland Township, and stole several tower grounds, ground bars and interior ground leads, police said.
Aug. 12
No license
Kimberly Gillum, 37, of the 2100 block of Rossiter Parkway, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 10:14 a.m. at the Frontage Road and Lincoln Highway and charged with driving with no valid license, police said.
