Police Blotter: Thieves Steal Motorcycles, Racing Gear; Arrests for ID Theft, Hit and Run

Arrests and incidents reported by Plainfield police, other agencies, Sept. 14-30.

Sept. 30

Crystal Arnold, 30, of the 2600 block of Sierra Avenue, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 11:52 p.m. at Drauden and Renwick roads and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, police said. Bond amount was $3,000.

Sept. 29

Angel Bullock, 23, of the 0-100 block of Fernwood Court, Romeoville, was arrested by Plainfield police at 11:42 a.m. at Feeney Drive and Route 59 on an in-state warrant, police said.

Sept. 27

Someone forcibly entered a trailer at Generation MX, 10200 S. Mandel St., and stole a 2006 Suzuki RM85-K5 motorcyle, a Suzuki Z-400 racing quad, three pairs of racing goggles and various hand tools, according to Will County Sheriff's police. An offender or offenders also entered a second trailer and stole a Yamaha 80cc ATV, a CRF 450R motocross bike, two racing helmets, a racing chest protector, a duffel bag containing a racing neck brace, miscellaneous racing clothing and six pairs of racing goggles, police said.

Sept. 26

Will County Sheriff's police said an employee at AS Corp, 13520 S. Budler Rd., heard two male subjects stealing two semi-truck batteries from a truck parked in the lot.

Someone entered a vehicle in the 2200 block of W. Niagara Trail and stole prescription bottles, CDs and a phone charger, according to WillCounty Sheriff's police.

Sept. 25

Tameka Galvin, 19, of the 100 block of Eastern Avenue, Joliet, was arrested by Plainfield police at 8:18 am. in the 24000 block of Fort Beggs Drive and charged with identity theft and deception/credit cards, police said. She was transported to the Will County jail.

Sept. 24

Bridget Sabor, 18, of the 15000 block of Weathervane Way, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 7:36 a.m. and charged with failure to notify the owner of an unattended vehicle of damage, police said. Bond amount was $1,500.

Renee Mills-James, 43, of the 14000 block of Patriot Square Drive, Plainfield, was arrested at home by Plainfield police at 6:01 p.m. on an in-state warrant, police said.

Sept. 14

John Angelus, 24, of the 1900 block of Wilcox, Crest Hill, was arrested by Plainfield police at 5:51 a.m. at Lily Cache Road and Lincoln Highway and charged with reckless driving and hit and run, police said. Bond amount was $2,000.
