Police Blotter: Women Charged with Mob Action; Burglar Steals Military Medals

Sept. 20

Army badges, ID stolen in burglary

Someone entered a home in the 21000 block of Basswood Lane in unincorporated Plainfield and stole a wooden box, various collectible coins, various Army badges and medals, an Army ID, a cell phone, cuff links and a knife, Will County Sheriff's police said.

Sept. 21

Warrants

Jorge Herrera, 56, of St. Anne, Illinois, was arrested by Plainfield police at 9:05 p.m. at Riverwalk Court and Route 56 and on an in-state warrant. Bond amount was $500.

Richard Carrino, 27, of the 21000 block of Windsor Lake, Crest Hill, was arrested by Plainfield police at 11:55 p.m. at 24600 W. 127th Street on an in-state warrant, police said. Bond amount was $500. 

Sept. 22

Warrant arrest

James Uridel, 32, of the 12000 block of Hadfield Drive, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police on an in-state warrant at 1:30 a.m. at 24600 W. 127th Street, police said. Bond amount was $3,800.

Sept. 24

Warrant arrest

Jerry Perez, 23, of the 24000 block of Mill Creek, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police and booked into the Will County jail on two in-state warrants, according to booking records. Bond amount was $575.

Sept. 26

Mob action charges

Sonya Burgess, 41, and Jessica Burgess, 19, both of the 700 block of Creekside Drive, Plainfield, were arrested by Aurora police and charged with aggravated battery and mob action. Bail was set at $5,000, according to Will County booking records.

Aggravated battery

Kyra N. Shepherd, 21, of the 700 block of Prairie, Joliet, was arrested by Plainfield police and booked into the Will County jail on charges of aggravated battery and resisting arrest, according to booking records. 

Warrant arrest

Kevin J. Thompson, 24, of the 16000 block of Legion Court, Plainfield, was taken into custody by Will County sheriff's police on in-state warrants, according to booking records. Bail was set at $5,000.
