Time to get out of the big banks and into credit unions, people!

Mortgage Originators whether working at a credit union or a big bank must go through the same background checks, fingerprinting, etc. This could have happened anywhere, big bank, little bank or credit union. Glad they caught this guy.

He's already at Guaranteed Rate Mortgage employed over there. This is my land lord and he's no more concerned for his tenants than his clients. I have cancer, just had surgery and the AC unit on the house was never cleaned or serviced and it's 25 years old. Has broken down twice in last 2 months and once last year. He refuses to replace and charging the freon does nothing. Told me air conditioning is a luxury and to get a window unit. He's not required to repair the Central Air unit because it isn't specifically stated in the lease, even though the house was advertised as a home with CENTRAL AIR and is $300 more expensive that comparable rentals that do not have central air on the block. He knows I just had abdominal surgery and is now telling my husband that "he didn't have the balls to call him" (he DID call him, the guy doesn't answer his phone) and he's evicting us for keeping the last half of the rent last month. (husband told him it was going in an escrow account until repairs were made, according to the law...) Both toilets are leaking water, there is mold literally growing down one wall and into the woodwork from where there was a window leak and it was never fixed...the list goes on and on...isn't there any way to stop someone like this? My lease goes through June 2013 and I don't want to have to move cut open and before school. WHAT a piece of work this guy turned out to be. WOW. HOW is he employed as a mortgage ANYTHING after that? Really?

He is no longer employed with Guaranteed Rate. We took care of the issue as soon as we became aware.
