Police Blotter: Sleeping in the Park, DUI, Reckless Driving

Warrant arrest, sleeping in the park

Erin E. Johnson, 18, of the 16000 block of Plainsman Circle was arrested after found him sleeping in around 8:37 a.m., police said. He was charged with park ordinance violations and taken into custody on in-state warrants related to burglary to a motor vehicle and credit card fraud charges from Plainfield, and a separate charge from Lockport, police said. 

Aug. 17

DUI charge

Daniel Tijerina, 22, of the 7400 block of Arran Drive, Frankfort, was arrested by Plainfield police at 11:59 p.m. at Chicago and Des Plaines Streets and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, police said. Bond amount was $1,000.

Aug. 16

Warrant arrest

Dustin McKinney, 19, of the 22000 block of Walnut, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 6:58 p.m. at 119th Street and Route 59 on an in-state warrant, police said. Bond was set at $300.

Aug. 12

Man accused of DUI, reckless driving

Darrell Tielbur, 44, of the 300 block of East 16th Street, Lockport, was arrested by Plainfield police at 12:41 a.m. at Drauden and Renwick roads and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and reckless driving, police said. Bond amount was $1,000.

Aug. 5

Cannabis arrest

Keith Smith, 18, of the 2400 block of Baldwin Court, Aurora, was arrested by Plainfield police at 1:38 p.m. at Lockport Street and Van Dyke Road and charged with possession of 30 grams or less of cannabis.
