Three Taken to Hospital After Route 30 Crash

No one suffered life-threatening injuries in the Friday night crash.

Three people were taken to area hospitals for observation after a two-car crash on Route 30, fire officials said.

Plainfield Deputy Fire Chief Jon Stratton said the accident happened around 7:10 p.m. when a four-door sedan rear-ended a pickup truck on Route 30 between Courtney Road and 111th Street.

The woman driving the sedan and two female passengers were taken to Rush-Copley Hospital, and the male driver of the pickup was transported to Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital. Stratton said none of the injuries were life threatening.

A crew for Plainfield Fire Station 3 responded to the crash, with assistance from Oswego ambulance.
