Truck Crash at I-55/I-80 Junction Tying Up Traffic, Police Say
A truck driver rolled his semi while going from eastbound Interstate 80 to northbound Interstate 55 near Joliet, Illinois State Police said.
A semi truck rollover at the junction of Interstate 80 and 55 is tying up traffic in all directions, according to Illinois State Police District 5.
The accident occurred at about 2:39 p.m. as the truck was exiting from eastbound I-80 onto northbound I-55, Sgt. R.A. Caves said.
The driver was injured, but the extent of his injuries was not yet known, Caves said. Details on what caused the crash are also not yet available.
