Video Brings Lisa Stebic Case Back into Spotlight

The ID network is bringing attention to the Plainfield mom's case once again as part of its "Throwback Thursdays" feature.

As part of its "Throwback Thursday" feature on cold cases, the Investigation Discovery (ID) network is highlighting the Lisa Stebic case this week.

In a video posted to the ID website, the network's Michelle Sigona profiles the case of the missing Plainfield mom of two.

Stebic, who was 37 when she vanished, was last seen at her Red Star Drive home on April 30, 2007. While her estranged husband, Craig Stebic, was named a person of interest, no one has ever been charged in connection with her disappearance and the case remains unsolved.

Next week, Sigona said she plans to highlight another missing Will County woman: Stacy Peterson, whose husband, former Bolingbrook Police Sgt. Drew Peterson, was convicted last year in the murder of a previous wife. Stacy vanished in October 2007, six months after Stebic's disappearance.
