Will County DUI Arrests: Oct. 19

Plainfield

Oct. 13: Nina Brass, 30, of the 1900 block of Marlboro, was arrested by Plainfield police after allegedly crashing into a railroad crossing control box at 2:15 a.m. at 119th Street in Plainfield, police said. Brass, whose 7-year-old daughter was in the vehicle at the time of the incident, is charged with aggravated DUI, improper traffic lane use, driving an uninsured vehicle and child restraint violation, according to police.

Oct. 11: Robert Kovacevich, 49, of the 23000 block of Overman, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 9:39 p.m. at Joliet Road and Route 59 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane use, police said.

Bolingbrook

Oct. 9: Ramon Lopez, 51, of 420 Greentree Lane, was charged with no valid registration, no valid driver’s license and two counts of DUI following a traffic stop on the 100 block of East Briarcliff Road at 3:25 a.m.

Oct. 15: Stephanie L. Buczek, 23, of 152 Seabury, Bolingbrook,was arrested on charges of aggravated DUI and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. She was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Oct. 17: Jalill R. Hudson, of 30 Wildwood GG, Bolingbrook, was booked by Will County Sheriff’s police on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and possession of cannabis (less than 2.5 grams). He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Joliet

Oct. 13: Glenn H. Thomas Jr., 52, of 1417 Fairview Ave., was arrested by Joliet police on a charge of DUI (alcohol, BAC over .08) at Cass/Garnsey.

Oct. 13: Armando Velasquez, 23, of 509 Liberty, Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police on charges of DUI (BAC 0.08) and speeding 31-39 mph over the limit. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Romeoville

Sept. 23: Brian Herbst, 52, of the 15000 block of Michael Drive, Plainfield, was arrested at 11:22 p.m. at Weber Road and Grand Haven Boulevard and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, police said.

Oct. 6: Jose Renteria, 42, of the 100 block of Farm Gate in Bolingbrook was arrested at 10:23 p.m. at Route 53 and Belmont Avenue and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a revoked license, failure to signal, improper lane use and illegal transportation of alcohol, according to police.
