Will County DUI Arrests: Sept. 14

A look at who has been charged with driving under the influence around the county.

Joliet


Sept. 8 Jose Luis Diaz, 40, 121 Wheeler, Joliet, arrested by the Joliet Police Department and booked into the Will County jail on charges of aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol and improper traffic lane usage.

Sept. 8 Daniel James Mayes, 25, 916 Cora, Joliet, arrested by the Joliet Police Department and booked into the Will County jail on charges of aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper traffic lane usage.


Sept. 11 Edgar Chavez, 25, 404 Columbia, Joliet, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department and booked into the Will County jail on charges of aggravated driving under the influence and driving on a revoked driver’s license.

Plainfield


Sept. 6 Eric J. Kafka, 44, of the 1700 block of Canterbury Court, Plainfield, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and booked into the Will County jail on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to render aid or give information, police said.

Sept. 8 Victor Mata, 21, of the 21000 block of Prestwick Drive, Crest Hill, was arrested by Plainfield police at 10:03 p.m. at Lincoln Highway and Renwick Road and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and operation of an uninsured vehicle, police said.

Bolingbrook


Sept. 1 Timothy Bradshaw, 49, 508 Falmore Lane, was charged with improper turn at an intersection and two counts of DUI following a traffic stop at Concord Lane and Route 53 at 12:06 a.m.

Sept. 2
 Daniel Nimmer, 23, 417 Liberty Lane, was charged with driving too fast for conditions and two counts of DUI following a traffic stop at Liberty Drive & Liberty Court at 2:24 a.m.

Sept. 2 Jose A. Rodriguez, 38, 234 Kenilworth, Bolingbrook, was booked by Will County Sheriff’s police on charges of aggravated DUI/3—a felony—and a local traffic violation. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility. His bond was set at $5,000.
