Jennifer Brown-Alers, 38, of the 1100 block of Yorkshire Court, Elgin, was arrested by Plainfield police at her former residence in the 26000 block of Whispering Woods Court twice in one day, police said, and charged with criminal trespassing. Sgt. Mike Fisher said Brown-Alers showed up at the home, which is in foreclosure, then proceeded to begin banging on neighbors' doors. Several neighbors have a no-trespassing warning against her, according to police. An allegedly intoxicated Brown-Alers was taken to Rush-Copley Hospital in Aurora for evaluation, Fisher said, only to take a taxi cab from the hospital back to the Whispering Woods Court home. She's accused of banging on neighbors' doors during her second trip back to the home, and "the night shift proceeded to arrest her again," Fisher said. The second time, she was taken to Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, which does not offer a taxi service, Fisher said.
