127th Street, Ridge Road Closed for Reconstruction

Two weeks needed to complete work; detour signs will be posted.

Reconstruction and repaving will close 127th Street, west of Ridge Road, and Ridge Road, north of 127th Street, for two weeks starting at 7 a.m. Monday.

A detour route will be posted.

The project is being funded by a grant awarded through the Emergency Repair Program, which is part of the Illinois Department of Transportation.

Also closed for another week are Indian Boundary Road, from Renwick Road to County Line Road, and Walker Road, from County Line Road west approximately 1,500 feet. That reconstruction project began May 2.

Detour routes are also posted for these roads.
