And This Week's Road Closures Include...

Another week, another road closure -- summer must be getting close!

135th Street

Avoid 135th Street, between the new Fire Station Facility and the DuPage River Bridge, which will be closed to all through traffic beginning Monday. This closure is necessary for the reconstruction and repaving of the roadway. A detour route will be posted.

Route 59

Mainline concrete pavement on Route 59 between Route 126 and Union Street began being poured Thursday night. As a result, the following streets will not be accessible from the west side of Route 59: Union, Newkirk, Commercial, Ottawa, Chicago, Arnold, and Oak. Because the concrete needs time to cure, it's expected they will remain closed through the end of the week. Detour routes will be posted.
