Senator Bertino-Tarrant will host a town hall meeting on critical issues on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013. The meeting will be from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Troy Middle School auditorium, 5800 W Theodore St.
Town hall meetings give members of the community a unique opportunity to meet with their legislator face-to-face to discuss pending legislation, state government or community concerns.

“In order to do my best in representing the people of our district, I need to know how they feel and where they stand on the issues,” Bertino-Tarrant said. “This meeting will provide an opportunity for that level of communication.”
This town hall meeting is especially unique because Senator Bertino-Tarrant will be joined by experts who can give candid updates on pensions, job creation and regional transportation.

“If members of the community are willing to take time out of their day to attend a town hall meeting, I want it to be as informative and worthwhile as possible,” Bertino-Tarrant continued.
