Bolingbrook Mayor, Roger Claar, has announced his official endorsement of Bob Kalnicky for state representative of the 98th district.
"The people of Bolingbrook see what's happening in our state, and we feel the impact of these poor decisions in our wallets," Claar said.
"Bob Kalnicky is exactly the type of leader we need in Springfield that will fight for families and businesses in Bolingbrook and in our district. Bob's commitment to education reform, the protection of senior citizens, and the growth of business are some of the reasons why I've chosen to endorse him to represent Bolingbrook families in Springfield."

Kalnicky is the Republican candidate for the seat, facing Democrat Natalie Manley in the November race.
Kalnicky is grateful and humbled by the outpouring of support he's received from Mayor Claar and other local mayors in the district.
"I've been a resident of Bolingbrook for 19 years, and I'm truly honored to receive the endorsement of Mayor Claar," Kalnicky said. "I spend day after day walking the communities in the district and speaking to people who have been hurt by the destructive policies pushed through by Speaker Mike Madigan and Governor Quinn. They want a Representative that will keep the promises they make and stand up to Speaker Madigan and Governor Quinn. I'm the only candidate in this race that will be the advocate the residents of the 98th district need in Springfield."
