Downtown Route 59 Striping Set for Monday Morning
No lanes will be closed and work will only be done on the west side of the street, village official says.
Although the streets will remain open, striping work on Route 59 between Commercial and Main Street is scheduled to be done between 5 a.m. and noon Monday.
Mark-It Corp. has been hired to stripe parking stalls, crosswalks and stop bars on the west side of the street, according to a release issued by the .
The hours were chosen to minimize the impact to residents and businesses, the release said. Should it rain, the work will be postponed until Tuesday.
