Lockport Street in downtown Plainfield, from Route 59 to Route 126, will receive an application of a liquid asphaltic material 6 a.m. until noon Sept. 11.
Parking on Lockport Street will be prohibited all east-west traffic will be rerouted with signs/barricades and flaggers.
Vehicles will be able to travel north-south through the intersections at Illinois and Des Plaines Streets. Northbound traffic on James and Fox River will rerouted to Chicago or Ottawa.
