Route 59 Celebration & Ribbon Cutting

Mayor Collins, the Board of Trustees, area elected officials, and Illinois Department of Transportation representatives will celebrate the reopening of Route 59 on Friday, July 29, 2011 with a ribbon cutting at 11 am.  The ribbon cutting will be held near the southwest corner of Lockport Street and Route 59.
The celebration will continue throughout the weekend, July 29-31, at local businesses as they offer “59” specials in honor of the reopening of the roadway.  For a complete list of participating businesses and their specials, visit http://www.plainfield-il.org/current/route59.php
