Plainfield Village Board trustee candidates can pick up petitions for the April 5, 2011, election beginning Sept. 21 at the village clerk's office, 24401 W. Lockport St.
The clerk's office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Petitions must be filed by 5 p.m. Dec. 20 in order for a candidate to appear on the ballot. There are three trustee seats open.
