Haul Old Junk to Curb, and Village Will Whisk It Away

The annual spring cleanup week will be held starting April 11; Waste Management will pick up on items on residents' regular garbage collection days.

Got an old sofa collecting dust in the basement, a refrigerator that went on the fritz years ago, a moldy mattress taking up precious garage space?

If you can drag it to the curb, the village will make it go away. Just deposit the items you want to get rid of on your regular trash collection day during the week of April 11, and Waste Management will do the rest.

holds a spring cleanup week every year, and among the refuse and bulk items you can get rid of are chairs, mattresses, couches and other furniture pieces, as well as white goods, such as refrigerators, washers, dryers and water heaters.
