Library Board Petitions Available; Filing Starts Dec. 17
Four seats will be filled in the April 9, 2013 election.

Nominating petition forms for the April 9, 2013 library board election in the Plainfield Public Library District will be available beginning Tuesday, Sept. 25, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Plainfield Public Library District’s Business Office, 15025 S. Illinois St., Plainfield, IL.
Completed petitions must be filed between Dec. 17 and 26 at the Plainfield Public Library District’s Business Office.

Four seats on the seven-member Board of Library Trustees are up for election on the April 9, 2013 ballot. Candidates elected will serve four-year terms expiring in April 2017. All library trustee positions are nonpartisan. Any US citizen, 18 or over and residing in the Plainfield Public Library District, may apply.
