Petitions for Mayor, Trustee Races Available Tuesday
Deadline to file is Dec. 24; village clerk will accept petitions from 3 to 5 p.m. Christmas Eve.

The consolidated election will be held on April 9, 2013. The Village of Plainfield will have the village president and three (3) trustee positions open. Each position is for a four-year term.
Petitions for Plainfield Village President and Trustee positions will be available for pick up starting on September 25, 2012. Petitions can be picked up at the Plainfield Village Hall, 24401 W. Lockport Street, Plainfield, Illinois, from the Village Clerk’s office between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The first day to file petitions is Dec. 17 starting at 9 a.m. The last day to file is Dec. 24, 2012. The Village Clerk’s Office will be open from 3 to 5 p.m. on Dec. 24 to accept nominating petitions.
