Plainfield Board to Get Updates on Brew Fest, Riverfront Foundation
Trustees are slated to get a recap of the 2013 beer festival on Monday night.
The Plainfield Village Board will get a recap of this year's Midwest Brewer's Fest at Monday night's special board meeting/committee of the whole meeting. The 2013 event was Aug. 24.
Reps for the fest will give trustees an overview of the third annual event, including attendance, financial results and charitable donations organizers plan to make with some of the event proceeds.

One benefactor of the event, the Plainfield Riverfront Foundation, is also on Monday night's agenda. Executive committee members will give the village board an update on recent milestones and accomplishments by the foundation, which is dedicated to revitalizing the DuPage Riverfront.
