Plainfield Business Evolution Center Gives New Businesses a Boost

Plainfield's Village Hall isn't just home to local government — it's also a place where local businesses get a chance to thrive.
The village's Business Evolution Center offers office space, including high-speed Internet and phone service, for brand-new businesses. For $100 per month per cubicle, businesses also get access to a copier and conference room.
The goal of the program, which allows new or home-based businesses to rent space for 12 to 18 months, is to help fledgling businesses make connections in the community — and, hopefully, to stay in Plainfield once they leave the evolution center.
