Plainfield Park Board to Interview Director Candidates

Next regular meeting is July 9.

The search continues for a new Plainfield Park District executive director, and the board of commissioners will meet this week to begin interviewing candidates.

The board is set to have a special meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, at the Recreation/Administration Center, 23729 W. Ottawa St. 

Commissioner Larry Newton on Monday said the board will interview candidates on July 2, 7 and 12. Commissioners had a special meeting on June 26 to determine which applicants would be selected for interviews.

The board's next scheduled regular meeting is set for 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, at at the Heritage Professional Center, Lower Level 24023 W. Lockport St.

MC--thank you right back, but by no means do I think my ideas form a complete "clearing up". As I think you are reminding, there is still much work to be done and info to bring out into the light, etc. We'll get there. As an aside, my understanding is that the ISP are very much still in the hunt. Could be wrong, but I believe what I've been hearing for a few reasons (no need to list them here). I guess we'll see. As someone I know taught me, sometimes things happen in the time they take, not the time you give them. This is why patience was elevated to a virtue eons ago, I guess!

Maybe Vicky can be appointed. As long as nobody requires that the pledge of Allegiance be recited (we know liberal progressive Vick thinks that's a no no) in any of the meetings.

That's a short sentence, but a mouthful, MC. Us Republicans are quite embarrassed by folks like this. They don't represent the party, they're the party's nemesis.
