Plainfield Park District to Discuss Reports of Missing PSA Equipment

The park district announced the special meeting on Friday.

The Plainfield Park District will hold a special meeting at 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, at the Heritage Professional Center, 24023 W. Lockport St.

The meeting comes after staff at the Plainfield Soccer Association reported that as many as 20 bags of soccer equipment were missing from a PSA-owned storage shed at Renwick Park.

PSA officials said their locks had been removed from the shed, and new locks — including a heavy duty stainless steel security lock — had been installed.

According to a notice issued by the park district, the meeting is to "conduct an open session inquiry into recent events that have occurred at Renwick Park."
