Poll: Should Lottery Tickets Be Sold Online?

Illinois Lottery officials say a system could be in place by March that will allow people to use credit cards to buy tickets online. Take our poll below.

Now that the U.S. Department of Justice has said that state-regulated online gambling is legal, the Illinois Lottery says it will likely have a system in place by March to buy tickets online with credit cards.

Not everyone thinks this is a good idea. While it has the potential to raise more money for the state, which is struggling financially, and some like that they won't have to go to a store to buy tickets, critics say may encourage some people to buy more tickets than they can afford.
