Sign of Spring? Yard Waste Pickup Resumes This Week
Landscape waste should be contained in kraft paper bags and left at the curb on regular garbage collection days.
Yard waste pickup resumes with the regular Waste Management garbage collection schedule this week, Plainfield village officials announced.
Items such as leaves and grass clippings must be contained in brown kraft yard waste bags and left at the curb. Tree branches can be bundled in lengths of four feet or less and should weigh 50 pounds or less. Branch diameter should not exceed 3 inches.
Waste Management also rents and sells 96-gallon yard waste containers. For more information, call 800-796-9696.
