Teen's Painting Headed to the U.S. Capitol Display

Carrie Sha's artwork was the winner in U.S. Rep. Randy Hultgren's art competition and will be displayed in the capitol building for a year.

A teen's artwork has been chosen to hang in the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., for one year.

The painting "Senior Smile" was done by Carrie Sha, a junior at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy in Aurora, according to a story in the Aurora Beacon-News. It was selected in U.S. Rep. Randy Hultgren's 14th Congressional District Art Competition, the story said.
