Repair, Resurfacing Work Begins on Several Village Roads This Month

The largest project call for the resurfacing of stretches of Route 126 and U.S. 30, according to the village.

State and local road work projects begin this month. No long-term road closures are expected. Work includes:

  • Route 126 resurfacing, from Van Dyke Road to Main Street;
  • U.S. 30 resurfacing, between Route 34 and 143rd Street.
  • Walker’s Grove, Nature’s Crossing, and Century Trace subdivision street improvements, including curb and sidewalk repairs, pavement grinding, patching on selected streets, and surface course and striping. 
  • Portions of 135th Street, Renwick Road and Fraser Road improvements, including curb and sidewalk repairs, pavement grinding, patching on selected streets, and surface course and striping.
  • Spring Hill Drive and Illinois Street, minor patching and resurfacing work.
