Global Peace TV

SPREADING THE MESSAGE OF PEACE THROUGH MTA WORLDWIDE.

FRIDAY SERMON – HOLY QURAN AND  RAMADAN

Muslim Television Ahmadiyya (MTA) is the global satellite TV network consisting of 4 international channels run and funded by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. The first channel, MTA 1 was officially launched on 1 January 1994. The Muslim Television Ahmadiyya International  is the first non-commercial Islamic television station to be aired worldwide 24 hours a day. This is one of the channels which does not air commercials. MTA is not dependent on sponsorships or license fees, thus allowing the network to concentrate on producing variety of programs on a range of subjects for its viewers around the world. The programs are, however, not only religious, but also cultural in content. These include subject matters such as, international news, sports, science, medicine, learning languages, children's shows, documentaries, and religion. The purpose of the channel was primarily to broadcast the sermons of the Khalifa (the worldwide supreme head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community) . It now broadcasts a variety of programs in various global languages for the benefit of the international Muslim Community.[S1] . Programs are broadcast mainly in Urdu, but there are several programs in other languages such as English, Arabic, Bengali, Indonesian, French, Swahili and Hausa. MTA is on 24/7 commercial-free with programs for all ages.
